Beep, beep!

The Kindergarten class was a busy place this week as the kids planned, painted, constructed, and wrote about their box cars!  They started the process on Monday by choosing a box and painting it a color.  It was hard work (and messy) to paint the entire box, but the kids were persistent and also very good about cleaning up the floor when they were finished!  On Tuesday, the kids sketched out what they wanted on their box cars.  We dumped out all of the recyclables, and the kids began gluing on radio knobs, tires, steering wheels, tvs, and cup holders.  I was impressed with their creativity and attention to detail while they were constructing their cars.  Wednesday was a busy day because the kids had to make their key chains, driver's license, and write about the special features of their cars.  We took pictures of the kids in their cars and put together a brochure for our visitors.  Thursday was the big day when guests came to the car show.  I was so proud of the entire class for how well they presented their cars to the guests.  It was so fun to watch!
